4. Insurance compensation and its dual verification source

Insurance compensation is generated by insurers (Manulife, Industrial Alliance, etc.) and sent to the General Agent (SFG).

4.1. Institutions/insurers platforms (primary source)

Each insurance company offers a secure web portal for its agents (the financial advisor).

  • How to access it: You use your specific credentials (not linked to SFG) to log in to the insurer’s website.
  • Content: These platforms provide gross compensation statements. They are the fastest data source to confirm a recent transaction (premium paid, new deal issued). This is where you see the total commission generated before it passes through SFG.
  • Usefulness: These are the reference documents for immediate litigation or for the follow-up of transactions in progress.

4.2. Centralize (Agency Management Platform)

Centralize (via the Equisoft portal made accessible by AgenZ) is the agency management tool.

  • How to access it: You log in to the AgenZ/Centralize portal :

https://agenz-portal.centralize.equisoft.com/agenz/login.htm

(if this link is temporarily out of date, go through the SFG Zendesk and notify us of the broken link).

  • Content: Centralize displays the administrative trace of your insurance transactions. After receiving the information from the insurer, AgenZ integrates it into Centralize. Here you can see your policy history, customer data and, most importantly, the compensation status (amount received by SFG/S_entiel).
  • Usefulness: Centralize is your source of truth for tracking active policies and for agency reporting, including possible deductions from administrative fees or chargebacks.
