04. Create a report for the client – portfolio statement

Here is the procedure to generate the portfolio statement with charts in VieFund, a more visual and analytical report for your clients.

Objective

Produce an enriched investment report that combines summary tables, evolution graphs (market value vs. book cost) and an analysis of the asset allocation.

Prerequisites

  • Be connected to the VieFund advisor area.
  • Have selected the file of the client concerned (see previous procedure for client research).

Step 1: Select the report type

  1. In the client’s file, go to the “reports” tab.
  2. Select the option “statement with investment evaluation graphs” (or portfolio statement).

Step 2: Setup and build

  1. Set the analysis period: Choose the desired interval according to the client’s needs (e.g. the last 90 days, the last year, etc.).
  2. Generate the document: Click on the “generate PDF” button.

⚠️ Point of caution: If the PDF is not displayed, check that your browser does not block pop-up blockers. Turn off the VieFund Blocker to allow the report to be opened.

Step 3: Analyze the content of the report

This report is distinguished by its integrated structure:

  • Visual Summary: Unlike the General Report, it presents the summary table and the main graph on the same page.
  • Historical evolution: A dedicated section compares the evolution of the market value with the accounting cost (capital invested).
  • Asset allocation: The report automatically generates charts showing the allocation by market and capital type.
  • Breakdown by account: The end of the document provides a detailed account-by-account description for each financial institution.

Step 4: Finalization

  1. Review the allocation charts to prepare your rebalancing tips if needed.
  2. Save or print the document for your client presentation.

💡 Note: This statement is particularly useful for demonstrating the added value of portfolio management through the visualization of net growth and asset diversification.
