02. Sample check

Identified process: Finalization of the contract and configuration of the payment method on the Apexa platform.

Step 1 : Authentication and Job Identification

  • Login: Log in to Apexa by selecting the appropriate user account.
  • Notifications: Review the list of notifications and select the priority task (often an assigned contract with a status of “completed”).

Step 2 : Signature and Acceptance

  • Electronic signature: Proceed with the digital signature of the electronic acceptance of the mandatory document presented on the screen.

Step 3 : Set up banking information

  • Payment method: Select the “Direct deposit” option.
  • Data Entry: Enter the transit number, institution number and account number.
  • Rationale: As with EFT transactions in VieFund, a void cheque must be uploaded to the file.
  • Validation: Save the changes to get the status “verified”.

Step 4 : Contract Submission

  • Account selection: Link the validated bank account to the current contract.
  • Document Verification: Check the Documents and Agreements tab to ensure that no additional requirements are pending.
  • Transmission: Submit the finalized contract. Once sent, the folder goes into read-only mode (“restricted actionability”) while waiting for action from the other signers.
