05. All contracts
Here is the detailed procedure for viewing and filtering all your policies (in-force, pending or expired policies) in the Centralize platform.
Objective
Access a consolidated view of all your insurance and investment contracts, and use advanced filtering tools to ensure rigorous follow-up of active or declined files.
Step 1: Access the Global List
- On your dashboard, look for the Contracts icon (representing all of your policies).
- Click on this icon to open the full list.
- Classification logic: By default, contracts are sorted alphabetically by institution and then by customer name.
- Note: The initial triage criterion is not the effective date, but the date the file arrived in the insurer’s system.
Step 2: Using filters by Insurer and Date of Entry
To isolate specific cases from a large volume of contracts:
- Open the Filtering menu.
- By Insurer: Select a specific insurer (e.g. Beneva) and click on Update.
- By Effective Date: * Set a start date and an end date.
- Click the refresh button to see the contracts signed during that specific time period.
Step 3: Follow-up of expired or refused contracts
It is strategic to monitor contracts that are no longer active to identify recovery opportunities:
- Use the Contract End Date filter.
- Select a past period (e.g. since the beginning of 2025).
- Analysis of results: This list includes the following cases:
- Refused by the insurer or by the customer.
- Deferred or due.
- 💡 Tip: Check the insurer’s ratings. A refusal may be accompanied by a condition of reassessment (e.g. after a specific medical examination). This allows you to schedule an appropriate follow-up with your customer.
Step 4: Filter by Contract Type
You can segment your view according to the nature of the products:
- Select the Contract type criterion.
- Choose the category you want: Accident Insurance, Mortgage Insurance, Universal Life, or Segregated Funds (TFSAs, etc.).
- Click refresh to get a consistent list.
Step 5: Resetting the view
- To get back to the full list, simply remove the active filters and click the refresh button again.
💡 Helpful tip: Use the “End date” filter regularly to identify rejected applications. This is a great way to demonstrate your proactivity by calling a client back when a counter-offer or reassessment becomes possible based on the insurer’s ratings.
