13. Errors and omissions

Here’s the step-by-step process for viewing your business insurance information in the Errors and Omissions (E&O) section of Centralize.

Objective

Check the validity of your professional coverage, consult the limits of coverage and ensure that your compliance file is up to date with the general agent.

Access

Look for the icon of a person with a shield on their side in your side menu.

Step 1: Selection of the producer

  1. If you work in a practice, start by choosing the relevant producer from the selection menu.
  2. Click the E&O insurance icon to load the data.

Step 2: Review the contract details

If one or more fonts are enabled, the following information will be displayed:

  • Identification: Name of the insurer and certificate number.
  • Status: Indicates whether protection is currently active.
  • Key Dates: Effective date and renewal date.
  • Settings: Group number, insurance type, and coverage type.

Step 3: Analysis of coverage amounts

The system details the benefits for your two practice streams (Investments and Life Insurance):

  • Total amount of coverage.
  • Deductible amount per claim.
  • Comprehensive coverage per claim.
  • Amount of the annual premium.

Step 4: Verify data accuracy

⚠️ Important point of caution: The information displayed in Centralize is not always documented in real-time or may not be up-to-date.

  1. Checking zeros: If you find that the amounts shown are zero or the renewal dates have passed, it means that the platform has not received your latest documents.
  2. Action required: In this case, contact AgenZ immediately to provide them with your new certificate and ensure that your protection case is officially compliant.

💡 Helpful tip: Make it a habit to check this section a month before your renewal date. This will allow you to validate that the general agent has received and processed your renewal, thus avoiding any administrative blocking of your commissions for lack of insurance.
