02. Update of financial advisors personal information
Here is the step-by-step procedure for updating your user settings in VieFund, based on the instructions in the video.
Objective
Keeping your personal, business, and regulatory information up to date in the VieFund CRM to ensure the accuracy of your records.
Prerequisites
- Be logged in to your VieFund session.
- Have your new license numbers or FundServ codes (if applicable) on hand.
Step 1: Access to personal contact information
- Go to the User Settings page.
- Identifier: Your identifier is visible here.
- ⚠️ Warning: It is strongly advised not to modify it, except in the event of an initial input error.
- Updating contacts: Review and edit if necessary:
- The email address.
- The telephone number (including the mobile phone).
- The fax number.
- Civil information: You can update your date of birth as well as your marital status.
Step 2: Company information and business codes
- Incorporation: If you have just incorporated your company, you can add or edit the Company Name in the dedicated field.
- Tip: Wait until you have all the official information before making this change.
- FundServ Codes: Fill in or correct your main code and the various associated split codes.
Step 3: License and Activity Management
In the section dedicated to regulatory parameters, check the following:
- Licenses: View a list of your license numbers. Check the license types, as well as the start and expiration dates.
- Dual occupations: If you have outside business activities, make sure they are listed in the non-practice activities section.
Step 4: Documents and notes
- Consult the specific section to find your tax documents or the notes attached to your user file.
Step 5: Save Changes
To have your changes reflected by the system:
- Scroll to the bottom of the window.
- Be sure to click on the “OK” button.
- Once the registration is confirmed, you can safely close the window.
