21. Customer access to VieFund – 2. Customer’s first login to VieFund

Here is the detailed procedure to accompany the customer when he first connects to his personal VieFund space, in accordance with your formatting instructions.


Objective

Guide the customer in activating their “My Wallet” account and ensure that they manage to complete the security steps to view their assets independently.

Prerequisites

  • The advisor must have enabled web access in the client’s administrative file.
  • The customer must have access to his or her email inbox.

Step 1: Receive the activation email

  1. The customer receives an automatic email from the sender viefund@sentiel.ca (AgenZ Group).
  2. Subject of the message: “Confirmation – Access to my wallet”.
  3. The message contains an official signature with the advisor’s contact information.
  4. The client must click on the “Access my wallet” button or link.

Step 2: Create the personal password

  1. The link opens a new VieFund window dedicated to the user.
  2. Identifier: The login field is pre-populated with the identifier number generated when the access was created.
  3. Security: The system immediately requires the creation of a new password. The customer must enter it twice.

Step 3: Identity Validation

To secure access, the interface asks for verification information:

  1. Date of birth: The client must enter their date of birth.
    • ⚠️ Attention: The format must be entered “in English” (Month / Day / Year). If the customer uses the day/month format, the date will be disapproved.
    • Special case: If this is an account in the name of a company, do not enter any date of birth.
  2. Social Insurance Number: The client must enter the last 3 digits of their SIN.

Step 4: Portfolio consultation

  1. Once logged in, the customer arrives on their dashboard.
  2. He has the same visibility as the advisor: consultation of the different plans, accounts and their respective market values.

💡 Helpful tip: Take the lead by notifying your client that the date of birth format is reversed (Months to Day). This is the main cause of failure on the first login.
