08. Create a report for a client – portfolio list

Here is the detailed procedure for generating and interpreting the list of transactions in VieFund, respecting the requested formatting.


Objective

Generate a complete and chronological history of all movements made in a client’s accounts, including deposits, withdrawals and reinvestments.

Prerequisites

  • Be logged in to your VieFund Advisor session.
  • Have selected the file of the client concerned.

Step 1: Access the report

  1. In the customer’s reports menu, look for the option named “Transaction listing”.
  2. Select the time period covered by the history you want to view.
  3. Start generating the PDF document.

Step 2: Analyzing the types of movements

The report details each operation in a clear way for each of the funds:

  • Contributions: View sporadic (one-off) deposits as well as periodic contributions (e.g. automatic monthly transfers).
  • Reinvested Earnings: Identify the portions of earnings that have been automatically reinvested into the portfolio.
  • Cash outflows: Identify the specific times when the customer has made a withdrawal or sale.

Step 3: Document Structure

  • Breakdown by fund: Transactions are not simply listed in bulk, but grouped by fund for better traceability.
  • Comprehensive format: Note that this document can be relatively long, as it aims to provide all historical data without omissions.

Step 4: Use and finalization

  1. Customer Transparency: Use this report to answer a customer’s specific questions about a specific transaction date or amount.
  2. Verification: This document is the go-to tool to validate that all transaction instructions have been successfully executed over time.
  3. Save or print the PDF for the compliance file or for delivery to the customer.
